With a maximum charging power of up to 22 kW*, 6 metres of cable length and a type-2 connector, the wallbox can charge your electric vehicle safely and significantly faster than a household socket.
Safety is the highest priority
During the charging process, the 6mA DC fault current detector installed in your Mercedes-Benz Wallbox 2.0 protects your Mercedes-Benz vehicle, your home installation system and your wallbox. In addition, the Mercedes-Benz Wallbox 2.0 can be unlocked or blocked via the Mercedes me App to protect it from unauthorised use. An RFID card is available with part number A0009056519. Card available separately.
Always up to date
The Mercedes-Benz wallbox can carry out software updates "over-the-air" via the customer's own compatible WLAN/LAN.

- Only certified professionals, such as qualified electricians, are allowed to install and maintain wallboxes in Australia. The installing electrician should ensure that the installation is completed in accordance with professional requirements and register the charging device as per the relevant guidelines. It is also important that you choose an electrician who is familiar with the approval requirements for vehicle charging devices and who can support you in obtaining the necessary approval as per relevant electrical guidelines.
